I got the Hotrails aleady in 1 guitar - was gonna do a 2nd for another but was thinking about the Fast Track 2 - anyone heard the differences?

Bridge position I assume?

I prefer the FS2 for its midrange and clarity, but I also like the Tone Zone S more for the bridge and the Pro Track for the middle and neck to be honest.

yeah, bridge. I pulled the trigger on the FS2 - will be lookin at the Tone Zone S in case I don't dig it. What do you like about the Tone Zone S over the FS2? thanks!

I would put a Super Distortion S or an Air Norton S in the bridge before a Tone Zone S--too muddy (for me).

I also prefer Pro Track middle and Fast Track 2 in the neck on an H-S-S guitar. My Ibanez RG760 is Super 3, Pro Track, Fast Track 2, and KILLS!

Cheers,

I've got a chopper on the way for the bridge of my tele, supposed to be a fast track with more output. I'll report back

It depends on what guitar you're putting it in really. I still like the FS2, but it was just a bit much for me. Someone else posted that they thought the TZS was muddy. I didn't think so at all...but mine was in a very bright/snappy strat (swamp ash)...perhaps it muddies a little in something more moderate (alder) or warm (mahogany)? Since that guitar was almost tele-like in tone, the TZS worked well b/c it seemed to warm up the top-end a bit.
