So my american strat that i've had for 3 years now, develops this truss rod rattle occassionally. it won't be there for months on end, then all the sudden it shows up again. it seems like when the seasons change it either goes away or comes back. its only when i'm not really holding on to the neck tightly. Is there any way to repair this permanently? its fucking annoying as hell when i'm just noodling around on the couch unplugged. Am i looking at having to replace the neck? ...Cuz there are some pretty gnarly replacement necks out there these days...and maybe a 70s headstock would be cooler...
