How does it compare to the JB and regular Distortion bridge pickups?
I love the JB for leads, but it doesn't suit my preferences for rhythm tones.
And I like the regular Distortion for detuning below D, but anything above that and it gets too shrill for me.
I'll be using it in a Floyd guitar in E Standard/Drop D tuning.

Rich ward used them in his les Paul's during the stuck mojo days, if that helps....

I bought one a loooong time ago when they first came out....It has the output of the jb/DD.. So i switched it out for a blues saraceno 9k.

Tony macalpine used them after "maximum security" for a few years.
very good clarity, high output, singing lead voice, articulate and punchy.

Had one for years in a Mohagany/Mohagany/Rosewood BCRich ST3 and loved it...deep chunky..nice ominous angry dark tone but still had a nice cut on the high end...swapped it out for a Bare Knuckle...never looked back..
