Chorus/Flanger - delay - reverb- and Gate. Who has it or tried it ?

I have it. A little torn. The delay is cool by itself. The chorus doesn't really blow me away - I like slow, lush chorus that's about a mile deep. This one is a little less refined - more "abrupt". If I dial it down, the delay fades more than I like. The verb is okay, but I'm not much of a verb guy. I really only grabbed it to go with my Theta Pedal Pre.

Overall, a good pedal, but it's an "all-or-none" kind of thing. It doesn't have memory or programmability. But NOTHING is simpler. Sonically speaking, it's what you would expect from iSP - quality, simplicity. Rugged build.

If I could do things over again...yeah.

Had an M13 once - awesome! Take a look at the Zoom multi-stomps too. Great pedals.

I have the Theta pedal and Stealth and was thinking of adding this but now I'm not sure after your review ;)
I only really use delay myself, and for chorus I was looking for something subtle.

I have a Boss DD3 and also a Digitech digiddelay that already work fine, but I find the DD3 can start to distort as the Theta has so much gain.

Right now I'm holding off and looking at their new Theta Pro DSP controller.

Yea the review shot me down. It looked like a perfect pedal in loop

Yeah...I have the Theta-Impression-Stealth setup too. Pretty cool, but I've gotten better out of Line 6. Oh well...just another wrench in my toolbox. I'm getting a Bogner Red and Uber soon...so I'll have lots to mess with.

The Impression is the weak link at the moment, but I could use the Zoom if I needed to. Right now, it'll manage what I need - a simple delay.

Some people might love it though, especially if you aren't as effect-dependent as I am. I go with fairly noticeable stuff. For the guys who are super-subtle, it might be just what the doc ordered.

I should qualify my remarks - I've had this unit for about 2 weeks, so there may be some "hidden gems" I don't know about, but I kinda doubt it. I compared the chorus a bit to my Zoom MS. Basically, it's the rate that doesn't agree with my usual chorus expectations. The delay and reverb are really pretty good. And again, nothing could be simpler to use!

Can u post some clod of each effect ? Maybe even off your phone. Just so we get a taste

I have the Impression as well... underwhelmed at first, but sort of fell in love with it.

Very simple. The delay is very dark/rich and even cranked, very out of the way of your playing, but somehow always present.

The chorus/flange is big and in your face. I agree with the previous post; I like my chorus to be lush and smooth (old Gallien Krueger or ADA MP-1 or the old Rocktron Pro Chorus), but in a live mix, this chorus sounds pretty good on high gain settings.

I think Buck Waller at ISP created it to have some quick effects when introducing the Theta Pedal at NAMM a few years ago, and it sort of fit in with the whole 'fly rig' thing with the Stealth and Theta Pedal.

It's not the best demo of all the sounds, but any chorus, verb or delays in this is all the Impression... enjoy!
