Ok. I have figured it out with the help of Oleg! The “Secret lies with Oleg”. For anyone who comes across one of the midi channel changeable preamps my Myasnikov; The midi transmitter (voodoo labs, fractal, whatever) message is memorized by the corresponding channel in the Myasnikov (X88 for me) when each respective channel is held down for 3 Seconds so it understands the command. The tiny bit of info that is nowhere. By the way. This unit is really nice. Not just a single pre. 3 different sounds. Clean, grit, and angry. Love it
