I bought it last night.

Pros
The production is great!
3 or 4 tunes I really like including (Back on my Trail, Turn Back Time, Locked Out of Paradise, Dream On)
Dean's vocals and Doug's playing...

Cons
Some real cheese inspired tunes
Very generic song titles and lyrics in general

Overall a real fun album as you don't hear this kind of release with such great musicians and production values. Some of the tunes are very predictable with cheesy titles and lyrics:
You're Not Alone
Don't Walk Away
Here Forever
How to Mend a Broken Heart

Hope that doesn't offend anyone but the titles and lyrics are very by the numbers and generic. Other than that, some real gems in there and great sound overall!

I plan on buying the songs I like. I rarely buy full albums anymore because most put out a bunch of fillers. the couple that I heard were pretty good though and my buddy Alessandro produced and engineered it, I think. Lyrics and titles don't bother me at all...I'd rather they be goofy and fun rather than gloomy and political or too deep. They're just songs.

Too many Journey sounding piano ballads, kind of pissed I bought the whole thing. Talent in there, just not what I am looking for in this age of music.

These thrown together by Frontier Records bands sound like they write 10 tunes in an afternoon and are then ready to record an album. So much of it is by the numbers and it almost seems to me like all who take part hold back their best ideas for something closer to their hearts.

Curt is right except for maybe W.E.T. their stuff works for me...at least for thrown together bands.

That "turn Back time" song sounds just like "calling to you" off first Frehley's Comet....but I still dig it. Haven't heard the rest of the album cuz I'm too busy jamming to the new Eclipse album.

Yeah, I pre ordered it from Amazon. It's Journey with Doug Aldrich playing leads, which is good enough for me.

Just bought it. Great feel good music. I didn't know dean sings that great. He sounds a lot like Steve perry. Wonder y they didn't have him sing for journey.

He does sing at least one song live with Journey

I agree with you here Curt. I like a couple of the tunes but get a tooth ache listening to the rest.

I like the W.E.T releases too Rian. Good stuff for sure and the guitar player is a monster. I'll have to check out Eclipse. Haven't heard of them.

Eclipse is pretty much W.E.T. without Soto. Also has Robert Saal form Work of Art. It is more heavy though...Good writing and their new album is solid, although I like their prior one a little more.

Just bought Eclipse new album Tnx guys. Great band. Great cd. Reminds me of XYZ a bit.

Check out the previous two Eclipse discs (Bleed And Scream [2012] and Are You Ready To Rock [2008]) as well as W.E.T.'s debut disc!! Awesome stuff!! The new Jeff Scott Soto stuff called SOTO "Inside the Vertigo" is pretty good too!!

Here is another band from Sweden that spews 80's!! Actually not bad!!
