Checking out modded marshalls...a 1959SLP caught my eye. Anyone ever mod it using Voodoo?

I have a 1987x with the jose HG mod. Killer amp.Great folks to deal with as well. Trace will spend as much time with you as needed to make sure you are satisfied 100%.
The Jose HG mod is very versatile and can cover alot of ground tonaly from classic rock to just about brutal. It's strong suit is 80's hard rock tones like Ratt, Dokken,Dio... I just posted these the other day and folks seemed to like them. You may have seen them here.

Here's a clip that's alot heavier. It was recorded at low volume and you can actually hear the pick hitting the strings.

I have a V-Rock which is based on their HG Jose. I like it a lot. I am selling it, but that's because I'm having a $ issue.

I should be receiving my 1976 Marshall MKII 50-watt head back from Trace later today. The following mods were done:

1. High Gain Jose Mod
2. Extra Gain control (the Jose mod comes with one Gain control and MV control already)
3. Both Gain controls are push/pull bright switches as well
4. Boost switch
5. FX Loop
6. Saturation Control

In addition to the mods, new preamp tubes were installed, filter cap replacements were done, new control knobs installed, and a new pilot light was installed.

Trace was amazing to deal with and was more than willing to talk on the phone and answer all my questions. Once I get a chance to play around with the amp I can give you a better review. According to Trace the amp sounds great and the extra controls will give me greater tonal flexibility which is what I wanted.
