I haven't created a thread 'cause I know he wouldn't want a fuss to be made, but now that you've asked publicly, Brother B...

He had an op last month and did a sort of digital detox. Spending more time outside and AFK. Trying to lose some weight and recover. The op went well.

This is the last info I heard; he's not popped in since around the 20th of Jan. All our thoughts and prayers are with him for a speedy recovery. We all love him!

Gotta say, at my advanced age and at my current profession, I have about 2 friends from my guitar / music days (outside of my wife) who really ‘get it.’ This forum is where I go to read and post (and buy shit I don’t need) and still enjoy something that is a major part of who I am. The fact the members notice when another member has gone radio silent is kind of affirming.

I have to agree whole heartedly with you. We don't all know each other on a personal level, but still have a sense of comradery here. It's a little reassuring that others here notice if you're absent for an extended period and you're not just a fleeting memory.
