just stumbled across this site while looking at Jet City Guitars. Jericho Guitars, the price is very inexpensive. Just wondering.

These are the guitars I was looking for and they appear to be pretty bad ass!!! Jet City Guitars, anyone own one or even played one?? They appear to also be priced good for what they are and the build quality appears to be very good also. A couple of the models look really sweet. They start at 1500, for what you get it seems like a great deal.

The Jet City is American made and high qulaity wood and parts. The owner hangs out at thegear page. The Jericho's are imported and the one I tried was not that impressive. I personally hate the they call themselves Jericho Guitars USA and Texas based. They are not made in the USA they are made in Korea. The "final assembly" is in the US, which could be putting strings on for all we know.

Yeah, I was wondering about that. I have no plans of getting a Jericho, I was just curious about the price, it appears they use quality components when building and their prices are really cheap.

The Jet City guitars look great. Sound great as well, they appear to be winners. Plus, the price is right, on the gear page they have a few awesome guitars in the 1600 to 2400 range that are new!

And they are small enough that they will make you anything you want

I dig that Jericho Fusion Purple. Pretty neat and clean looking axe. And I have had some very nice Korean-made LTDs and other guitars from there.

Yea, i bought a Jericho years ago, I love it! I use it live all the time, the thing is a tank. You really need to know what it is thats in your hands though, to appreciate it. Its a longer scale so if you produce music its great for layering guitars either in standard tuning or dropped tunings down even as far as Drop G or F. For the price, you can't beat it, for a specialized guitar like that. Plus, they are beautiful! I paid $799 when they had a sale for a new one, great price, very competitive considering other guitars that are made totally in Korea with those specs are way more. I had a chat with a guy who knows them, they pay for the all american hardware and install it there. The company is run in Texas. I would suspect if they were trying to make it all in America this guitar would be thousands of dollars with all mahogany, Hipshot bridge and Seymour Duncan pickups, locking tuners, etc. Anyways, thats my take.

I had a totally different experience! I love my Fusion 6

Jericho makes a solid guitar for the money. They are built at WMI unless that has changed recently. I know a few guys with them and have checked them out quite a bit.
