There's one pretty cheap in my area with v30s and I'm contemplating picking it up. Any opinions?

I have been using the 2x12OS for three years now.

it destroyed my mesa 4x12 and sent it packing.

the cabinet is extremely dispersive, extra responsive to bends and digging into the strings.

it has an even frequency spread with room filling sound.

made nicely by mojotone.

no chance or farting out the speakers as they have full throw.

you can choose front or rear mounting.

sounds great dirty and even better clean.

it got along with any speaker i put in it.

cons:

no metal corners, that's it...

If you like ported cabs you'll love this one.

I've never tried a ported cab but I've been looking for one of these to come up for sale for a while so I can try it out. It's not the OS though, it's just the standard. I think I'm going to pick it up, I might sell the V30s and put another type of speaker in it, not sure yet.

I have hempcones in mine, using it with my diezel einstein. I did try a few different speaker combinations though and not one sounded bad. the cab seems to work with all speakers, you just pick your flavor.

I've never tried hempcones before, which ones are you using? Like wattage/type. I've been using v30s and/or greenbacks for a while. I'm looking to try something new. I was thinking about the scumbacks but at nearly $200 a speaker it's a big monetary risk if I don't like them.
