only a serial number no model or anything

That would be a Brian Moore. Not sure if it's an import model, but regardless, these are very cool guitars. The american made models were pretty highend, and had alot of very nice features.

so he did do imports as well? it has nothing on it but a serial number 00273. no M1 or made in japan nothing.

Ya, they did an import that looked alot like the pic, had Duncan's stock and a built in Midi pickup.

Yup - that's a Brian Moore. I think he used to work for Steinberger. His flagship model was the MC/1 and was a wood/hybrid composite, IIRC.

He had a C55/90 series that was all wood and strat-style that was made in USA. I lost track of them when they started doing lower cost midi guitars, which appears to be where the site now directs you to. Not sure who bought him out, but the USA models were good guitars that got lost in the shuffle somewhere down the line.

That is an original series, hand made American LP Moore.
Great guitars.
He had to stop making it due to the typical Gibson problems....
Gibson hates when you make a much better guitar than they make...LOL
That one is probably from early 90's

Played some C55 and C90 models. I think thats what they were called. They were excellent with a unique neck shape.

The Model is a DC1 the DC stands are the initials of Tom Doyle and Pat Cunningham. Pat Cunningham is the owner of Brain Moore. That guitar appears to be from the custom shop. If it is an import it will have a small i next to the "M" on the headstock. If it is a custom shop it was probably very expensive $3-4K to have built. At the very end of the MC-1 which is the first model they offered they were charging $10-15K :scared:

it has no markings. only that #00273 on the back of the headstock. DC1 M1 ? ? nothing

thanks y'all if you know for certain let me know.

Even the imports were nice playing and sounding guitars. Not cheap either.

Brian Moore's were the RAGE when I started playing around Summer 93. I knew a guy who had a green strat-style one. Killer sounding guitar.

it does play incredibly well. i nned to ID it , put a price on it, and sell it for a fallen friend.

Can you post a pic of the front of the headstock?

That is in fact an early model DC/1
The price will only be determined by what someone will pay for it.
That guitar retailed back in the early 90's at almost $3k
Like I said in my earlier post, that is a hand made early model before they went over seas.
More of a collectors piece.
You need to find the ass that fits the seat.....

Definitely a USA made Brian Moore - you can tell from the inlay stripe down the rear of the guitar. Love those!

bro you serious? without a doubt?
thanks
Not a question. I owned the same guitar in green with the abalone stripe along with 2 other strat style bodies.
Amazing guitars, built to last. Highest attention to detail, and not one was a bad player.
The shame is that they went over seas to mass produce the style.
They are just as high quality as any Suhr, Anderson, Etc....
