Anyone know how much Dave charges for a half-power switch?

I'm thinking about getting a kitchen sink mod done on my 1959 SLP reissue and the only thing I was wondering about was the half-power switch. Anyone have this done on their amp? Just curious how much it cost and if it makes a big difference for low volume playing. I heard the mods sound great at low volumes anyway.

It would cost 50.00 but it won't make that much of a difference.

My Marsha is 100W but the master is great, I agree with Dave no need for a half power switch

Why would you want to eliminate all that head room? I've played 50W Marshall heads that Dave's modded and I own 100W ones and to me the 100W sound much better. Not sure if it's the same sound as the half power switch though.

+1 .. I have a 100w Marsha and it sounds great even at tv level volumes.

Id love to hear the 100wt Marsha, but I'd have to say my 50watt Model 1987 sounds awesome! Not sure what dave does to the MV but even at bedroom levels the amp maintains character, tone, harmonics and still sounds like a Badass Marshall should sound!

I just can't wait to get my Marshall so I can send it off to Dave. I'm in a "domino-effect" situation. I can't send my amp till my stuff gets delivered. Can't get my stuff delivered until I get a house. Can't get a house until closing. :)

I feel your pain, I was in the same boat. ended up closing and moving while my amp was with Dave. All is good now, Have my Kitchen Sink modded MKII 50wt and a long weekend to feel it out!

Sweet! Let me know what you like most about it. I'm really curious about this amp. What does the C45 do exactly? I get the impression people really dig the saturation option.

On my amp the C45 adds a touch of gain and a little more bottom. The saturation is cool too. Two must have options.

 Yeah, I've finally accepted the fact that if I do the Friedman thing, I gotta have everything. :) I know I would regret not getting one of the options.
