I know a long time ago they used HEAD CRASHERS which were a Floyd copy but actually pretty good ones.
Not sure what is on them these days.

Yep, I used the old trem from my old Fernandes strat on a buddies Yamaha, and he still uses it to this day.

Damn things were built like tanks.

if they are Gotoh, then that's a good tremolo on a guitar that costs under 400 dollars new

Gotoh are some of the best. That is what Ernie Ball used on all the EVH Musicmans. I had a couple of them back in the day.
Great bridges. Probably better than what the "NEW" Floyds are these days.

the wolfgang's trems are my favorite. they have a distinct "woaw" sound to them - excellent trems.

i'd love to have a gotoh floyd personally. that plus a brass block would be heavenly

that fact that the fernandes trems apparently aren't made by Gotoh is lame, unless of course they are manufactured to gotoh standards. how does that work?
