Got one in a trade. Fun little amp that sounds surprisingly good!
It is, however, a bit bright and not very fat. I already tried these mods:
But it is still a bit sizzly through my Marshall cab with Creambacks. I guess these amps were designed for the darker/fatter cabs like Orange. They seem simple enough to try to do some to, though. I thought it'd make for a fun project.
So what have you guys done to yours? Anything that addresses these issues?
