I have no idea why Tag got suspended but he is a good guy who sticks to his guns and he likes what he likes adn he is not affraid to give his opinon. Im pretty sure that he and Scott lerner do disagree on the Ford thing but Im also sure that Scott wouldn't have wanted Tag suspended.

Scott is a personal friend of mine... great player and probably one of the most knowledgeable on the Dumble tone... technically as well. I agree that he would never want to see anyone get suspended.

Unfortunately, it seems very easy to get suspended on TGP. I tend to ignore the "hot" threads: D'Pergo, Dumble/clones of Dumble/....anything with "umble" in the thread, and Ceriatone or other "clone" vs. X-builder threads.

But, you can jump into any of the mother-fuck Mesa Boogie, shred guitar, etc...threads nooooo problem.

Apparently, when you've developed your "cork sniffery" technique to its finest and most expensive levels, your skin gets very thin and your estrogen levels raise so that the finest grain of salt, or disagreement in a forum thread, will aggravate your vaginal walls....Its a good thing that I find cheap, mass produced gear agreeable to my tonal pallete!

You nailed it. It's as if you're not allowed to say anything against Dumble or other small amp builders but you're allowed to shit all over Mesa Boogie or Engl. And you can crap all over Jackson and Ibanez all you want but HOW DARE think that Suhr guitars aren't the best things since sliced bread.

One of the biggest problems nowadays is that there are so many products and so many makers of those products hang out on forums or know someone who knows someone, etc. It is very difficult to give an honest review about many things, except of course if it is a Marshall, Gibson, Fender, etc. Too many thin skinned finocchios out there too, they can't handle any criticism or they have to justify their purchase because it was either super expensive, took a long time to get or it was free for promotional purposes.

This is what I was trying to say while making my guess at the reason for Tag's slap.
