I think my friends would consider me "Metro" and I have some relatively expensive fashion forward pieces I have collected over the years, but I just dont understand this look. And Ive been trying to get it for years. It's the sexy rock n roll bad boy who wears ornate, pretty and colorful Ed Hardy / Affliction tshirts and jeans with sparkly jewels on them. This is surely a man to respect and fear!

The only women Ive ever seen go for guys in this type of attire are trashy and/or cougars. I think it reminds them of the glam good old days.

What baffles me even more is that guys have to dress like this in country music, but its true. Am I supposed to believe that real tough pickup truck driving, beer drinking country men hang with guys that look like THAT? No way. And I was flipping channels and saw Taylor Swift at some Virgin music festival. Her guitar player was completely emo. Tight black jeans, a scarf, tons of guyliner and make up. Im not sure if it was a man or a woman but I was completely confused about why he/she was playing country pop. Its just bizarre.

Jeez... tough room.

It's just costume clothes for a show! It's all just part of the show. Personally, I'm tired of the jeans & T-shirt "too cool to care" look and the dentist/lawyer/engineer in the bowling shirt makes me wanna puke! I actually prefer to see someone take it up a notch and try to dress like a rock star.
