I was looking at a used Divinity on Craigslist and got to Googling around and apparently they are back in business (or about to be). I hope it works out for them but they're going to have a lot more competition now than they did in the past. They have a cool looking 25w head I might be interested in once I hear some demos.

I had started watching that video but had to stop b/c of the guys glasses. I hope they're having them built in the same factory as Jet City.

Is duct tape optional this time? Wonder what Marshall circuits they managed to mess up this go around...

Hopefully they won't knowingly ship out amps without all the knobs wired up.

Without any playing that vid is useless.

Yeah 3 minutes of that guy's face and 20 seconds of bad amp shots... not that I really want to see Madison amps, they're the equivalent of an easy-bake oven, you're kinda surprised that a toy-looking thing actually half-works.

They should have stayed out of business, or came back under a new brand

Yeah uhmmmmmmmmm metal uuuuuuuuhh

After reading this and watching 10 seconds of the video I turned it off.

I had a Madison endorsement years ago. I had 2 of their oversized cabs and I'd put them up against most any other cab I have owned (Splwan/Fryette/Mesa). There may have been some issues with their earlier heads but the cabs I had were the tits!

Last I saw on their site they had a XXX knock off, made in some sweat shop by 4 year Asian children for MORE than was the XXX/3120 goes for.

Maybe they'll get Krank style in their reviews/endorsements this time?

I remember when they were really big at first.
All the whoopla from folks just too discover through their own vids and pic's that Madison amps were chassis assembled in China
and then "Made in USA" by the Madison crew when joining the Chinese Chassis with their sourced head shells,etc....
The blatant lying over country of origin and who and how it was built was a Big Red Flag for me.
I just saw a Divinty 2 or3 I believe on the CL for 500 and Damn if it doesnt look like a XXX or Bugera knock off.

Their cabs were out sourced as well I believe. I remember them running a wanted ad looking for a new supplier on their site back then as well.
Didnt they have Madison brand speakers as well?

All built by other companies and final assembly by Madison.
Yikes I hope they are a Real amp maker this time.

My cab's had V30's and 12-75's in a cross pattern. Both had the the most durable tolex I have ever owned on a cab. Originally they had some branded speakers though, for sure.

Their original tube amps were direct copy of a Marshall TSL if I remember correctly, only they all broke like Bugeras. I've still got one of the Solid State Prophecy heads. Extremely heavy Death Metal type tones, it's the one decent amp they ever made IMO.
