I have had a Metropolis. IIRC the 15 is considered the more "desirable" version but who knows... Mine was a 15watt combo fwiw. I liked it but did not love it. Definitely loose and vintage feeling amp. Not a whole ton of gain on tap, but will do Zeppelin/Aerosmith type stuff pretty well. Great for blues or mellower stuff like Tom Petty, the Police, etc. I thought the Duende did a better job at vintage small amp tones, but it has been some time so my memory may be a little foggy. 1200.00 is marginal on price Not a terrible deal but I have seen them sell for as little as 900.00. 1000 is about right. 1200.00 is all the dough but if you end up digging it, I think it is good bang of the buck in todays market considering the prices nowadays.

I've played the Metropolis 15 a few times and thought it was a great amp for cleans up to classic rock stuff
I'm not super familiar with their used pricing but that seems like a good deal to me; I doubt you'll find any much cheaper if at all
