Anyone put a 5150III 50watter through a Mesa thiele 1x12?

Hi guys

I'm currently planning to assemble the ultimate(ish) portable high gain rig! Pretty much set on the 5150 50w, but not sure whether to go with the matching 1x12 cab or the Mesa? It would be a new Mesa so with the C90 speaker in it.

Anyone been down this road before?

I had a Mesa Thiele cab for a bit, was trying to do the same thing. It sounded good, lots of bass response for suck a small cab. Eventually tried a 1x12 Bogner Shiva cab with a V30 and liked that cab a lot.

Doubt you'd be disappointed with the Mesa Thiele. The Mesa 2x12 Recto would be a little better I bet.
 
I'd love to go 2x12 but I need something I can lug onto a train or bus if need be!

I've had (2) Thieles for about a year. Played a JVM, Mini Recto, (2) EVH 50's, Randall Diavlo RD45 as well. I'm currently using the EVH with it. You can't go wrong, they're awesome cabs, though I just ordered the matching 2x12.
