anyone see The Voice last night?

I've never gotten into the whole American Idol thing - but I was really digging The Voice last night. Ended up watching the whole thing - I thought all the interaction and the concept was really cool. Anyone else dig it, or am I the only one :lol: :LOL:
 
Yep. Dug it waaaay more than American Idol; anxious to see what the rest of the show is about.
 
It was cool. A lot different. Same as you I didn't think I'd watch it. I can't stand AI. It will be interesting to see what happens now that they have seen their faces. Will it now just be another AI? Wondering how they are working out the even distribution of singers picking them Doesn't seem likely to go that way. Some cool, unique singers so far.
 
I watched part of it.. The backing band seems pretty good.
I guess I don't know much about pop or country music, why is C low green so popular?
I get the other judges/coaches having clout in the music industry but who is that guy?
Looks like a one hit wonder sort of dude.. Maybe a future celebrity rehab contestant.
 
I watched a bit, and could stomache it much more then idol.. better concept!
 
I didn't like it at all...but I'm an American Idol fanboi :gay:

I don't know that much about C low either - other than that one song. Maybe he's part of a producing team that's been successful :confused:

I really enjoyed it. As for Cee Lo... Google him. He is no one. Hit wonder.
 
I have three friends on the show, Tje Austin, Curtis Grimes (I played on one of his records), and the drummer in the house band Nate Morton. BTW it's the same band as the Rockstar show without Raphael.
 
Javier Colon is fucking incredible....simply an amazing talent.
 
I only watched the opening of the show, when the four stars/judges performed - I'll say this, Aguilera can still bring it, range and control are still in check big time...she even got all the lyrics right, lol. /gayness
 
Yeah...the House Band rocks for sure!! I watched Rockstar INXS and Supernova just to see them perform...Raphael can really rip!!
 
Some great singers on that show. It was cool for sure.
 
Awesome vocalists on the show...was surprised for sure.
I can appreciate true talent even if it's not hard rock/metal....most of those vocalists are better than the AI contestants.
The Aguilera close ups of her rack, I mean her hands on the button didn't hurt the show's appeal either.
 
Its funny...the House band is there...and now I have read that Lukas Rossi (the winner of Rockstar Supernova) is a contestant also...LOL...its like a reunion!
