Thinking about getting one to run with my Two-Notes LIVE. Just to change things up. Any love for the Triaxis anymore. I can't keep up with all the mods. What exactly is Mesa putting out these days?

Yep, still my favorite tube rig & the one I'll never sell. I got it in 2000 so I believe it's the V2 with the fat mod. My main rig for nine years. Here's a demo I put together a few weeks ago testing out a new pickup. I had the camera in a crappy spot so it's pretty woofy sounding on the high gain, but you can still get an idea. Running triaxis/50-50/Intellifex into Mesa 4x12 traditional. Boost on the clean & lead is a BB Pre. New bridge pup is the dirty fingers.

I had a triaxis rig for like 10+ years. I had paired it first with the 50/50, then with the 2:90. The 50/50 was my personal favorite for power sections.

New user here. I'm rocking a Triaxis with a VHT 2/50 power amp. Pretty much been a Mesa fan boy for the last 7 years and this set up is my favorite. Still gasing for a 5150 III 50 watt though

Nice vids

I use to use the Triaxis 2/90 for ever - but it's been so long I have no idea if I'd still like one. I keep debating on the Triaxis and an FX unit or an AXE II. If I get the Triaxis I would be using it with IRs with no amp cab. Need to rent one or something to see if I'd still dig ti, lol

Thanks Man!

I think that would be a cool way to go. I've been looking at those Torpedo products lately & they look pretty bitchin'! I actually used my Axe in a similar fashion with pretty good results. I used a Rivera Rockcrusher as a Load then lined out to the Axe for Cab & Fx direct into FRFR. It worked well, but I also found that the Axe sounded just as good with it's own modeling without all the extra gear & connections. I have yet to try and integrate my Triaxis into the Axe? I think I'll have to give that a try when I get a chance. Thanks for the idea!

Tried a triaxis, I always preferred the Quad or Studio for mesa tones, but they don't do rectos. I actually had a rack setup with a GCX switcher, a mesa quad and a rackmount rectifier (using the rectifier power section) that gave me access to all six channels, it was pretty interesting but heavy as hell. Also had a little bleed. A better switcher would have probably made it a keeper.
