Anyone still using and liking WGS ET-65's?

For a while there, everyone raved about them, but I rarely hear about them anymore. I'm looking for a couple speakers on the cheap to pair with some new Creambacks in a 4x12.

I have a pair mixed with Veteran 30's in an X pattern. Killer combo.

Sold mine, but only because they didn't have a WOW factor for me. They are good speakers, but didn't bring anything notworthy to my tone. I just like V30's better for what I do and how they perform. I think the 65's would be great if I was doing alt rock or that classic Marshall plexi kerrang thing.

2x12 with Celestion 65's is my main cab. I play hard rock/borderline metal to country rock stuff in a cover band and it works great for me. Been meaning to mix a V30 with one. I've been lazy I guess since the 65's sound good. It's a front load cab too.

I'm running them in a quad with a Legacy I, still loving them. I might go back to the V30/ET65 X'd combo, it's got a little more aggression while keeping a lot of the 65 smooth.

The Et65s are not even remotely close to the G12-65. I wouldn't even call them in the same family of sounds. The G12-65 is my main speaker. I tried the ET65 and sold them immediately. Just not for me. I'm sure they work for some, but I can't stand them.

+1. Same set up in a Marshall 1960A.
