I owned the RGA7 for a while and it was an ok guitar. the pickups sounded like ass but you can always change them.
But have anyone tried out the 8-string version? Looks pretty affordable:
a friend of mine has one, I really don't rate it very highly but it may have something to do with the way he looks after his guitars. If you do pick one up the pickups have to go, they are horrible.
