I mostly use mine for when I need to play through headphones. Also for scratch tracks when recording with a drummer. Pretty easy to dial in a decent modeler tone for FRFR or recording. I spent way too much time and failed trying to get a decent tone using it as a preamp into real tube amp & 4x12, any version of Axe FX sounds way better for that purpose.

Well IMHO, just as red cars are a smidgen faster, back gear sounds a poofteenth better.

yeah the gt2 is designed to go direct. its pretty good, but im looking fof something a bit better if i can find something for not much $$ lol
