Got a GFS dream 90 NECK pickup...
and a T-Top....

Stands to reason the P90 at 8.2 ohm is gonna be stronger than the T Top so it should go in da bridge ...

So?! Sounds like it may a a cool bluesy set up?!

I had a telecaster with a hot bridge single and hum neck, it was an alright combo. The bridge was a bit too noisy and the neck was a bit too mushy. Better pickups probably could have helped, but not my fave set up.

I had an SG classic with P90's. For some regrettable reason, I sold it. Loved a P90 in the bridge of an SG. Good sizzle to almost cleans. Reminded me of a Keith Urban sort of lead tone. I will get an LP Jr or SG with P90's again. Too useful of a tone, and fun for blues rock jams.

Let me add that I have a Godin LG90, which is a lot closer to the SG than a telecaster, and the p90 bridge on it sounds killer.

This was my thought process... And the T Top is weaker, and clear, so it should match up nice in the neck fur blues....

Funny on TGP, they're like, "no, put the P90 in the neck, where its supposed to go".
And I replied, "No, reading comprehension. Read my post!" Lol....

As much as I hated my MKV, I have to admit it sounded glorious with that P90 bridge pup. Or it could have been very late and everybody jamming was shit faced... Plus it was very loud playing outside.

Not to derail the thread, but this Gemini has a clean channel every bit as good as anything on the MKV, I may borrow a buddy's P90 Tele to see. But that mahogany body SG just had a bit of steel wool tone going on. Honestly, I thought it would have been great for old Buckcherry. They had a great ratty grind going, thinking Crazy Bitch or Lit Up.

Jake got good P90 tone. Hard to argue with his results. He occasionally used a 62 SG with a P90 per his own gear rundown.
