looks like a barrycase's, never had one of the rack, head case,but I have 2 head and bottom cases from these guys, don't let there prices fool you, these are totally professional, heavy duty made for the road, you can find other case maker on e-bay for cheaper, but thats what you get a cheap case

i would love something like that myself. would there be enough depth to rest a 2x12 on top of that?

I had one, but didn't like it. It was too heavy/bulky for what I was wanting to do with my rig at the time. Some gigs I play different heads and others I don't require rack stuff. It was cool at a gig though because everything was right there. However, getting there was a pain in the ass.

I ended up splitting and having my heads in cases, and I have a rack separately. That way I can mix and match depending on the gig.

FWIW, I'm a total rock hard cases fanboy (http://www.rockhardcases.com) They build all my stuff now and my purchases have truly been a pleasure. If you still are looking at getting a combo, hit them up about getting one built for you. I highly recommend them

And yea, he gigs with that shit! It's as tall (if not taller) then his full stack.

Our guitarist uses a 1 head + 10 space flight case. It's heavy as shit, but he thinks it's worth it, and I plan on going the same way. With our MIDI setups, It's really convenient.

I also wonder about the 2x12 thing, is it deep enough to support a 2x12 on top?

they are actually not as "affordable" as i thought.... i really want one of those badboys, i would like probably a 4 or 6 space rack tho, a slot for a furman, the gsystem, a wireless, then room for my pedals. and then its as simple as connecting the head to the speaker and im playing.

I had something similar I toured with my early Randall tube heads back in the day. It worked for me quite well and we had very few issues with it. I had my case made by Anvil who also made my refrigerator in my avatar.

Too heavy. I've learned my lesson as I've grown older (and hopefully somewhat wiser). It's better to have stuff be more portable - not only from a weight standpoint, but also I've learned that the heavier your cases are, the more they get slammed and dropped by roadies. Make it easy for them to move and they will make it easy on your equipment.

Back when I was young, verile, and dumb as a rock, I had an Anvil case that held 4 Marshall heads plus six rack spaces that formerly belonged to Marc Ferrari. It was great to roll on stage and back off and made setup a breeze. But it sure pisses you off when a couple of guys lose control of it when it's coming down the loadout ramp.

A buddy of mine has a Soldano SLO 100 + Peavey 6505 + 10 space rack flight case from afforable cases, and it's actually pretty solid. I've head some "disappointed" reviews, but they're cheaper then Anvil, so don't expect Anvil quality. Still pretty good. I'll probably go with afforadble, I dont plan on going on a national tour for 3 years or anything.
