I was looking for a small and unobtrusive buffer to add to my board and it seems like this thing fits the bill almost TOO well.

Has anyone used one of these? How transparent is it?

I'd like to know this too... If it kicks ass I'll be ordering one!

His name is Dan Burgess, longtime poster on The Gear Page. Super nice guy, and makes a micro buffer just that same size, for $35 beans, and it's incredible.

Really simple innards that get the job done, and preserve the tone really well. I have two of them and love them. Quality product, amazing price, great builder.

Thanks for the tip! I hadn't turned that up in my search but it also fits the bill perfectly.

I got mini buffer some months ago and it's really great piece of gear.
The buffer gets the job done and it's not over the top bright like MI Audio Boost'n'Buff I used to used.
Mini buffer sounds really great, very musical

I'm glad to hear that. I HATE bright buffers, and it seems like 90% of the buffers I come across are way too bright, to the point that they make the guitar have a terrible fizzy tone that I describe as "cardboardy". I'm definitely interested in the MB now, at that price it's hard not to be.
