Anyone use one of these? I plan on only dropping a half or whole step only.
I assume the farther you drop the less transparent it is..

I was considering the Capo Pedal because I tune to Eb and I wanted to be able to jam in standard but I also wanted the ability to drop a 1/2 to D for a couple of artists that I dig. For me to do that, would have had to buy both Morpheus pedals. The Digitech Whammy DT can do both and I got it at a screaming deal for less than I would have paid for the 2 Morpheus pedals and I have a Whammy as a bonus even though I really dont use it. It sounds friggin great and works like a charm,,,

And yes, The closer you are to your guitars pitch will yeild the best results. Since Im only a half step up or down, Im golden...

Further away from base pitch the worse it is. It's great for 1/2 step, ok for full, starts getting weird at one and a half and further down.

Pitch is always ok, but you lose high end and harmonics. Make sure you are playing fairly loud though, because if you can still hear your strings acoustically it will mess with you severely.

Its weird Pete, the Whammy DT adds this kind of high end sparkle. Its kinda weird because while it isnt bad, I wish that it wasnt there. Its not really noticeable unless youre really listening for it

Had one, only gave me problems. When it still worked (the thing broke down) it sounded okay with a clean sound. I found that it colored my dirty sound. I only used it because our vocalist at the time had such a limited range. When he was fired I didn't have to bother with it anymore.
