Appetite for AC/DC

How about the dude from Love/Hate? He did a good job with Warren and Ratt 12 years ago, club dates.....

Interesting news in that it's 10 dates. Not that AC/DC needs to create a buzz but maybe there's a method to their madness. In his prime Axl might have actually been a fit if his reliability were to match up with the rest of the band. For now it seems a bit of a celebrity drive by but I'll hold out for the gigs to make up my mind as many will I'm sure.

I think they are supposed to come to my area soon.
I saw them in 85 fly on the wall tour.
Wish I could of seen Bon.

Same here, that was the only time I've seen them. Yngwie opened for them here in NY. Great stuff !!

I've got every album up to For Those About to Rock.....after that, they lost me....

Sometimes, it's ok to retire...... :aww:

I was at Reading Festival 2010 when gnr headlined. Thousands of paying punters expectantly waiting for them to play. Strict residential-area noise curfew that no rock star is above, and the cunt finally came out to tens of thousands of shivering, cynical festival goers like he was Jesus fucking Christ and threw a comedy wobbler when he got heckled to fuck.
His band were amazing to be fair, and they really took one on the chin for him that night, literally holding their heads in their hands and miming apologies to everyone on the big screen. DJA threw it down for everyone that night for sure. No fucking about. Major props to that whole band.

They should of grabbed my buddies singer for the last shows and did a tribute to Bon. Check this guy out he's incredible.

My initial reaction to that was, you're nuts. That said, I think I actually agree. Highway to Hell and $ talks off Razors Edge are jams, but that's about it.

  I told ya.

I was about a week away from seeing them when the news broke about Brian's hearing. Me and my buddy were sick. We saw them in 1988 and this was our first time seeing them since that tour.

I got my tickets refunded and within hours the Axl rumor was unleashed. Regardless I think I made the right decision getting my money back. I can't imagine seeing anyone else other than Brian up there.

i don't understand the logic here or see any synergy. ACDC should go out on a high and just call it a day. axl is like a monkey - what he can't eat or fuck, he shits on.

In a related story - AC/DC plans underway to set up "reunion" tour immediately after all remaining living band members have passed away. :D

Come on guys.....sometimes the universe is just trying to tell you something :aww:

If true, this says to me that the once great AC/DC just cares about grabbing money and short changing fans who will no doubt be disappointed by the train wreck that is Axl-hole- if he even shows up most of the time

Yeah, I was disappointed when I got my tickets refunded but I just kept thinking that this was just another omen.

I mean, Malcolm is sitting in a home with dementia, Phil Rudd is in trouble for everything under the sun, and now Brian is gone. This past year has been the nightmare scenario for AC/DC fans.

The crazy thing is that back in 1988 when I saw them, it was a different drummer and rhythm guitar (Malcolm was in rehab) but Brian was there. Without Brian, just not the same band.

Yep in `88 Stevie Young filled in for Mal just as he`s doing now and I`m betting most people back then didn`t even care or know the difference. No internet/Facebook/Twitter to rile people up back then

Mark Tornillo. /Thread.

BINGO!
imagine if Mark won the lottery twice like that in one life after toiling in near obscurity all of those years....
now if only someone would pick up Dave Dipietro dammit

Think I'd rather hear the singer from Cinderella sing AC/DC vs Axl...
