Interesting stuff as usual from Troy. I've been a dart thrower since the beginning. It seems reverse dart throwers have more consistent upstrokes vs downstrokes. Dart throwing is all about coiling up and then throwing the dart so it's kind of a one-way motion. So for me an upstroke is merely a recoil from the powerful downstroke. And so tremolo picking can tend to 'pump'...CLICK-click-CLICK-click-CLICK-click...aso. It surprised me how quickly I could tremolo pick using reverse dart thrower motion tho. I should spend a Sunday just reverse dart throwing while I watch football and see if it has potential.
