This pedal was given to me this afternoon. Very good shape. Its ok sounding. Looking to mess around with it. My searches have been unsuccessful. Anyone know any cool mods for the Arion Stereo Chorus SCH-Z?
If you got rid of all the PC mount garbage (jacks , pots etc) SHould fit nicely in a 1590BoneSaw":2q7qmlen said:i have one I bought new in the 80's. I love it but hate the plastic. i was going to try and rehouse it in a metal box but didn't look do-able.

damn man i did have info on mod for this one but I cant seem to find itill keep looking but i cant promise anything I have gigs of schematics and crap in that vein.
OT this pedal was my first stomp box ever! I remember plugging it in for the first time and being completely amazed at the sound i was hearing.
One can change one resistor (R4, from 470k to 1M) and swap the input buffer transistor Q1 for a JFET (i.e. from a C1815/2SC1825 to a MPF102, J201, 2SK117, etc). One has to swap the Drain and Source pins around on the JFET though (i.e. Drain=Collector, Source=Emitter, Gate=Base). It has much less tone suckage.

Bypass buffer mod.
