I'm not sure how many people will be bothered about these pics but i thought i'd post them anyway. This band are the biggest tribute band ever supposedly and their rehearsal room when they come to the uk is in our practice spot. Being good friends with the guy who owns the place doesnt hurt either so i was able to get some quick pics on my phone cam. They bring a full pa with them and have it fully hooked up in a room that must be no bigger than 25m x 25m i can only imagine what it sounds like. So here are the pics

I've watched videos of that band and they are friggin' incredible.

I saw these guys a few months ago. There were AMAZING, and I'm not even a huge P.F. fan. Hands down, the best sounding live show I've ever seen/heard, not to mention the guitar tones were flawless. My buddy had backstage passes and we go to hang with the band afterwards. The back-up singers were HOT (and they could sing!!!), and the keyboard player was a really cool guy. I can't wait till they come back around.

when they played here three years ago sixteen thousand people turned up  it was an awesome show, there are a lot of PF fans here in Malta... I remember that night well.. there's nothing like getting stoned and rocking out to some (australian) pink floyd! haha.. and goddamn those hiwatts sounded good..

Saw them a month or so ago, 2nd row center in Tulsa. GREAT show!

I didn't see any Hiwatts, just some killer sounding Cornfords and I a few Fender Twins. Not positive about the Twins.

Saw them at a really big festival last summer... a-ma-zing ! No soundchecking at all, yet, from moment one it sounded perfect. And +1 to the backingsingers mentioned above.
PF has this one song (can't remember the bame right now) that only has "vocals" of a female singer which aren't really words (haha haaahaaa etc etc.). Those lady backgroundsingers sang that in a way that gave me goosebumps all over. It actually made me sorta emotional which is a very rare thing.

One guy was using a boss GT-Pro when I saw them, and Jazz Chorus amps. Other had Cornford and a Pod XT Pro in a rack. :)
