I traded Adam of Angels this BFR Baritone:

for this BFR 7 String:

and I couldn't be happier. The Petrucci 7 string BFR is amazing. I couldn't get used to the longer scale of the Baritone and knew I would never play it and Adam of Angels was looking for one - perfect deal for both of us...

As I understand it this guitar is several years old and has been through multiple hands, but I polished it up and I swear you'd never know that it wasn't brand new. Setup was perfect as is. This guitar has been well cared for. Mine was brand new... Looks like I'm out on the Broderick 7 - this thing will nicely cover my 7 string jones - piezo system is a big plus. Gotta hand it to Ernie Ball... they make a sweet guitar...

Adam of Angels is a good dude - great to deal with... I actually picked this guitar up in Cali from a guy who had traded or bought it from him and decided he didn't dig 7s. He lived like 3 miles from me... :)

Congrats! That looks like a great guitar!
It is, man. The Baritone was really nice as well, but 27.5" is too much for me...

The 7 string is HEAVY though - dang like 9 or 10 lbs!

My 6 string version is actually really light??? Looks great though and yes EBMM builds some seriously nice, super high quality guitars!! Congrats. I'm going to go play mine now!
Oh and CLIPS!!!

Looks awesome Steve! Ernie Ball makes some of my favorite guitars.

Nice trade, question for you,
I've never really played a JP 7 but everytime I see them in pics the high E string
looks ridiculously close to the edge of the fret board.
Any issue there? that's really the only reason I don't have one , that really worries me.
