Axe FX & Pedals

I was wondering if the Axe FX can take pedals well, in the same way an amp can.

Is it possible to use my favorite pedals in the input & have it sound good?

Oh yeah man, without a doubt. I have done recordings in the past with my Keeley D&M as a boost into my Axe-Fx II. Works the same as a regular amp and sounds badass!
