Hello

Working on some upbeat slightly aggresive instrumental tracks for a project, and thought I would post something for a short while. All guitars are recorded direct from the Fractal Audio Axe-FX. hope you like it.

I like the arrangement.
Most clips get a play or two.

I think one of the nice things of using the axe is that I can come back the next day, punch in or finish a track, dial in the same patch and it will sound exactly the same. Pretty important for me. I may lose just a tad going direct, but the convenience wins out on stuff I gotta knock out like this.
 
I pretty much feel I need to get one some time this year.
It is very close to the top of the list.

I would suggets it if you can. Pretty verstatile, not just in sound but possible uses. Great as just efx, good for direct and into a power amp. Some amp sims are a little grainy, some are fantastic, and they keep on improving the unit. If I lived near romulus I would invite you over to give mine a try to test out :thumbsup:

It has made my direct sound much better then what I was using before. though now there are some software options that have come a long way as well. Difference to me is 0 latency plugging into Fractal, just feels better you know.
 
Romulus is where Spock grew up.
I live in Seattle .....

Watching Ed Degenaro use it live thinking there was a loaded down head on stage when there was not was enough to make me believe this is what I want.

I read about half the manual.
A lot of options is a understatement.

I plan on using your track to practice some lead improve over.
I just like the feel. :yes:
