I had kinda forgotten about this...thought I'd taken it off youtube...found it on a TGP thread...I dig it...sounds really good to me....

Think I need to grab another Axe Fx :D

I gigged my AxeFxII with a 2/50/2 and mesa recto cab for about 6 months and really enjoyed it but im back to a head (VH4) and use the Axe for FX now....The VH4 gives me all the different tones I need!!!

I'm still lovin' my Axe-II, and am using it for a LOT of practise and DI recording - the beauty of this? Dead silent to anyone else in the room, and the tone is bang-on at every stage.

I'm really liking the D60 patch - it's exceptionally hard hittin!!! Great tool - doesn't replace the feel of a good quality amp, but for utilitarian purposes, I can't beat it.

Great sound and playing!

I'm going look into getting a AxeFx soon hopefully.

This is what concerns me, I have never played an Axe, but how big is the difference between a computer and a tube amp????

not to mention Kemper vs Axe??

Running it with a power amp and cab, it sounded great.

Felt a lot better than some tube amps, not as nice as others.

Never played a Kemper, so I can't comment on that, but I've dug the clips.

My feelings as well. I disagree with the whole "doesn't sound/feel like a good tube amp" statement because each person will have a different idea of what a "good quality tube amp" is. I've played "good quality tube amps" that I thought felt terrible and others that felt great. Someone else may have played the same amps and felt the opposite. There is nothing definite in something as subjective as "feel".

I'm honestly more tonally satisfied with the Axe FX through studio speakers than many tube amps I've had at high volumes. I guess I've always been after that 'record quality' sound, instead of raw. The Axe FX through FRFR monitors at high volumes hasn't been such a great experience for me though, so for band purposes, I'm back to tubes.
