I posted this on the afx forum, but its slower so thought I'd post here.
I have the spill over globally set so that when I switch patches both verbs and delays will spill over to the next patch or stay on after I kick my lead boost off.
Something happened at practice today and now, even in the same patch when I turn the lead boost off (delay is within my lead button), the delay tails disappear.
My signal chain for most patches is similar to comp > filter > drive > Amp blocks > volume > cab > Geq > (split chain) Upper GEQ for lead boost Lower for Delay block, delay joins back up to main chain to output.
Only changes at practice i made were to the clean channel, and a song specific patch...nothing to do with delays, or nothing to do with global spill over setting. Checked all my parameters for effects and chains/shunts...I dont see why i'm losing the delay tails....
I NEED to get this fixed...it sounds so good during leads with the delays and when I switch over to a regular patch I lose that great atmospheric effect.
Any ideas? First show with the new band tomorrow and need to start off on good foot.
