Axe-fx Ultra vs Eleven rack clips

not a shoot out, but a chronicling of my search for tone while learning the axe-fx ultra.
one clip is the eleven rack "Singtall Krunch" preset, which took me a long time to perfect. the other clip is my first try at that same tone using the axe-fx ultra. which tone is which? can you tell?

before i get flamed, the axe-fx can do much more....but for this particular test, i was trying to cop the same tone as my eleven rack.
 
I don't know which is which, but I like the first one of the two.
 
#1 definatly tighter and larger sounding Im amazed with all this axe fx and eleven rack setups im a poor guy loving my analog mts amps but still a little jealous

Both are very good sounding dude, good job. Im an axe fx II owner myself but i must say, had digidesign actually kept up there product and not left it die I would probably have one of those too!
 
doesn't sound like a $2000 price differential between the two ;)

Maybe not that much between the ultra and eleven rack, remember tha axe II is leaps ahead of the ultra. Just sayin
 
11Rack was great and a nice unit for the price. As mentioned, it is too bad that Digi/Avid decided to not develop it any further. I loved the functionality of the unit when I had it.
 
I think side by side the first half sounds better, but with a band going or come back on a different day and I bet I couldn't tell the difference.
 
the first take is the axe-fx ultra, the second is the eleven rack.
