I guess I have gotten lucky in my hundreds of dealings over nearly a decade. Still my go-to shop, and I've sent many, many people that direction, with never an issue. I hit up Wired Guitarist (Used to be affiliated, helped found it, but not longer affiliated) sometimes, but AP is still where I continue to go. $3200 in an amp and bass in the last month alone to AP and no issues whatsoever.
Thanks man. Yeah, 99.9% of our transactions go perfectly smoothly, and if they didn't our feedback would not be 100% on Reverb, eBay, SS.ORG, and so many other places spanning 18 years of doing business. Look, we've been the #1 BKP dealer in the world for nearly a decade for a reason. Yes, we've had a few orders out of 10,000's get fucked up. I'm sorry for that, and I am working hard to make sure that doesn't happen again. In the rare cases like that I've offered refunds and often even send the pickups for free as a token of good will. I never, ever, ever have intentionally tried to mess with anyone... and I've never ever not offered a refund or tried to make things right when presented with a customer's concerns. And if there was ever any issue that was caused by a mistake I made, I've always apologized. This is why most people love dealing with us and have had good experiences, and again why our Feedback is 100% on all reputable marketplaces/review sites.
I'm saddened to see there's so much hate here, given I am an honest and hard working guy who always tries to do the right thing. If I have made a few mistakes over the years, as any business who does the kind of volume we do will, I'm sorry but again I've always tried to make things right in the end and it was NEVER intentional. We've never once in our history "screwed" anyone. We ship thousands of guitars, amps, pickups, pedals, etc a year out to people without incident and we have a ton of happy loyal customers. But it doesn't mean once in a while shit can't happen, no one is perfect. To the people who have had bad experiences, I would love to get a PM from you so I can apologize again. I don't know who any of you are based on your usernames here.
Regarding BKP pricing. Historically we always strived to have the lowest prices. I constantly compared to other dealers and to BKP's direct price. The exchange rate is always fluctuating, and we try to adjust our prices according. Yes, we were late to the game in lowering the prices to reflect the most recent post-Brexit exchange rate drop, but I didnt know if that was going to hold like that. I wanted to wait and what happened first. Once that became clear, I made the change. Also, when you factor in int'l shipping charges and foreign transaction fees, our prices compare even favorably then. The bottom line is, $229 for a set of BKPS is a damn fair price.
I know its fun to hate on the Internet and easy to forget these are real people behind these screen names, but damn.
