B.C. Rich Eagle Deluxe

Just curious. This particular Eagle is a crazy looking guitar. Any lovers, haters, owners? Opinions?

I love B.C. Rich's shapes, especially the more out-there (like Beast, Warlock, Mockingbird, Virgin, Ignitor) but the Eagle is definitely one that is more relaxed/traditional. I would like to find most of the iconic shapes in a 7-string Custom (obligatory picture attached) but I never see them. I have a Mockingbird CS-7 that I got a few years ago that is one of my top three guitars but have never seen any since.

You can put me in the "lover" category.

I love Mocks ! Yours is beautiful ! I have a Deluxe that I ordered direct from the Custom Shop in 96. It sounds awesome !

I am a big fan of BC Rich guitars, especially the Mockingbird and will never miss an opportunity to post my 3 custom shop birds.

I am not sure about that Eagle, its a little fancy. If its an import (?) and relatively inexpensive it might be a good deal. I have a recent import Bich with a Floyd, and it is a fantastic guitar for the $$.

And it's always going to sound extra fat, round and not particularly bitey because of that.

Thanks, its a 1982 model. Not a mark of play wear on it, with updated electronics from Neil Moser.

Good point. If it was with Floyd, I'd probably consider buying. I kind of like it in a perverse way, because it's really over the top, it would make a nice wall decoration
