Got one on clearance online for $479 shipped. Kind of an impulse buy, I haven't played it! Be here Wednesday...

I dont think you can go wrong for that price.

I am glad to see all the 'hot rod' strats coming back into the scene.

Me too - it's EXACTLY what I was after. Maple fretboard, Dimarzio Super Distortion & Chopper Single coil, as well as original Floyd Rose. $479's a steal, if you ask me. Here it is:

Looks good and it will cover all the bases!

I like the Yellow one thats out there.....

I owned a few of the original ones.....they played and sounded great so I would expect the same from these. ;)

I have had my eye on these for awhile. The red one, the green one with just a bucker. Also the ASM pro in black. Fuck, the price seems good for an import.

You guys remember back in the day when they made a USA Gunslinger with black and green crackle paint with maple board? As gay as it sounds I want it. :gay:

That seems like a hell of a deal.

Now if I could get a Mockingbird with a nice maple top for that price..

Nice! I had a Charvel model 4 that had that rainbow crackle. Fuck man, I miss that guitar. It is so 80's but I still like that paint scheme. Look everyday on ebay for the past 7yrs looking for the black n green crackle gunslinger. Actually bid and won one a few years back. Turns out the guys room mate was a crackhead and pawned it as the auction ended. Motherfucker! I have waited so long for one. The guy gave my money back but, I really wanted that thing. Oh, well. The search continues...........CSB

I have played a few and they feel and play great. I was comparing them to the charvel production models and they were very close quality wise, which is awesome when you consider the price. Ultimately I could not get past the ugly headstock!

Received yesterday - I'll have to get some photos..

All in all, it sounds great, and looks great! I'm still checking it out. Came with .009's, and were quickly changed to .010's...I'm going to go tinker with it some more..It's a great guitar, but I'm not overly blown away...yet?

I had a yellow one, and it needed the standard brand new guitar stuff, trem set up, fret ends filed, that sort of thing. Mine had a single hum, Super Distortion, they have the cheaper floyds with the squared off saddles, but it worked great, played great, really a good guitar for $500.

Yeah, I had to lube up the fine tuners - they were tight. My only complaint about the guitar is the neck pick-up. It's way too warm, lacks any treble at all, and makes the tone somewhat flabby. It's nowhere NEAR as tight sounding as my Gibson V. The jury is still out.
