Back from Colorado...... Makoplex/Titan vid.

Finally made it back from Colorado, had a BLAST, except for car trouble on the way home, expect SPAM, need money for repairs :doh:

anyways here is the Makoplex/Titan clip, I have a clip of the Titan by itself, but the damned thing is over 800mb, and I cant find a host for it. Rapdishare is telling me no more than 200mb.......:confused:

anyways...

 
titan seems to be cutting through more. sounds good. :yes:
 
The Titan seems to have a bigger bottom end for sure....I dug it!
 
They both sound great. The Titan sounds a little more focused.

No sweat Zach, just wish I could figure out how to get the other clip up, I'm gonna try to get a shorter one done tomorrow......
 
I don't want to shit on your bed or anthing but how the fuck are you supposed to compare anything with a camcorder recording those amps? They both sound horrible due to the crap mic.
 
mic quality notwithstanding, ALL recordings fail at accurately representing the sound of an amp in a room.

the purpose of this vid (to me, anyway) was to compare an unknown amp (titan) to a more known amp (mako) in an A/B fashion. sure, the mic is crappy. yeah, it clips a bit sometimes. that doesn't detract from the comparison though, because it was the same mic for both amps.

Where's the gain set at on the Titan and/or how much more is left? thnx for th vid!
 
at about 1:00. lots of gain on tap still from there.....

F'n killer amp, sounds GREAT at low volumes, and just KILLS at higher volumes.
 
To my ears and froim what I can tell the Titan sounds like a super pissed off Soldano.

??? I thought the exact opposite. The Mako was deeper and "bigger", while the Titan was tighter and more focused in the upper mids. :confused:
