I agree. I play dry all the time. 1/2 stack with just a boost pedal. No verb ever. Very rarely a delay. I add that all in the mix. I actually don't even like playing with that stuff. I want to hear what I just played. If it's clean enough, I will reward it with verb and delay in the final mix.

I do that too, but I don't sound good, so maybe I would need some Lynch Special Sauce
