Dude, you leveled a huge insult at the designer/builder of the Axe-FX on the Axe-FX forum. What did you expect?


Now I didn't like the original Fractal Forum, even back before it was on Cliff's own site. The users were extremely closed minded, and had no sense of humor. I gigged an Axe-FX for 3 years - from 2008-2011. Even then, I didn't care for the attitude on the forum.

But c'mon - to insult the designer's abilities on his own website/forum? I'm not surprised he banned you.

Well it took him 5 yrs to figure out that he likes tube amps better. Maybe Cliff should be more appreciative that the op used his product for so long

Axe- drama makes me sick
 
It wasn't meant as an insult, just a smart ass comment. I could see how it was taken the wrong way.
On the other hand I have never been a troublemaker in the past compared to some on that forum.
If this is all it took to get banned so be it. I am over it. Not the end of the world.
 
Consider it as a badge of honor. The attitude of factual and some of its users has turned me off for a long time. I think factual has a great product, but they need to be more open to improvements and know a joke when they see one. Look at dominos they took their negative comments and are turning our their product. It takes guts to do that. Either you listen to your customers or you go out of business eventually.
 
I think your comment was funny, would have been just as funny on the Line6 board or the Kemper board. Only difference is, they wouldn't have banned you. Note how I am NOT saying TGP wouldn't have banned you. :)

This just makes me chuckle a bit." Close minded" coming from guys who won't give the axe fx a chance.... Sorry, but Im open to everything and have owned 15-20 tubers and the axe fx II has been a very useful tool for me and one of my favorite purchases thus far. And I shouldn't have to point out that every forum has it's share of gear snobs, not just the fractal forum

and when someone posts a snicker about a freaking 12ax7 tube.....and get bant???

The Digitech GSP2101 had a 12AX7 in it. So it wasn't unthinkable to do.

For sure....had a ADA MP-1 that had a 12ax7 in it.....sounded great. Didnt mean to upset the heavens....... :lol: :LOL:
