I have heard a whole bunch of good stuff about this company, and I'm looking for a new set of pickups for my two guitars 1. Gibson SG and 2. PRS SE Custom. I want a well rounded pickup that gives a good clean tone without sacrificing tone when the volume is rolled off, and something that will give me both a good mid gain sound and a nice dirty sound. Suggestions would be sweet  :D

Oh, and my main amp is a Diezel Einstein for reference purposes.

I wish I could help you man, so consider this a bump. I'm terrible with pickups....I never know wtf to get and havn't tryed out many different ones.

But, I did have a BK Rebel Yell in a Hamer Korina Explorer and it was great. A little bright, but it could have been the the guitar too.

I have a Bareknuckles Nailbomb in my Les Paul Custom and it sounds killer. Don't let the name fool you, it is a great pickup that actually sounds great clean and menacing as hell dirty. I have also heard that the Cold Sweat is a great one.

i was thinking of getting either a naibomb or a warpig in the bridge. probably the best pickups on the planet, imo.

My favorite Bareknuckle pickup was probably the Geoff Whitehorn 'Crawler' humbucker. That thing sounds gorgeous in a LP! Just enough bite, and not over the top in output either.

I love the clips I've heard of that pickup as well

It definitly sounds as good in person as the clips do! I tested out a LP Custom with the Crawler humbuckers in it at Bareknuckles stand at the London Guitar Show. It was Tim's personal guitar, and plugged into a boosted JCM800 it was rippin!!

Thanks guys, I was thinking about the Holy Diver, sounds promising. Any other opinions would be great.

If this was the same "killertone" that was at the Austin Ampfest then I have to agree. I heard 'em first hand through a couple of different amps and I was impressed with the sounds he got. Then again it might have been the bad ass playin'! lol

Back in the day I used to know the guy who owns Barenuckle Pickups. In the 80's he was a full shred hair metalist, he was actually a pretty awesome player. A total guitar head and he knew his stuff. I'd be pretty confident in saying that offering a top notch product for other players is his primary concern.

I have a Holy Diver that I never even put in a guitar yet. I might be willing to sell it. But I'd like to keep it just in case. :aww:

I think a BK Rebel Yell would be perfect in my Hamer with my Steve Stevens 3+.
