Hi guys, just ordered the BE-100 half stack, can't wait to play this great amp. I'd love to see from guys that have this amp some of their favorite eq settings from heavy 80's to more plexish vintage tones and anything in between. Thanks all.

just twiddle the knobs with your eyes closed and let your ears dial in the amp.

dont be afraid of unconventional eq settings.

the BE channel is great for van halen/lynch mob/ and Hendrix. The HBE channel or boost on the foot switch is great for lead and EVH feed back. I got the head and cab and you are find different tones every time you play. Very rich and fat sounding tube amp

Congratulations!!!!!
I actually am in almost the same boat, got a head coming.

Very good excited to see/hear this head ROCK!!
Any hints would surely be appreciated on this end.

One thing that I am particularly wondering is getting a KILLER Scorpions tone.
I play with a Scorps Tribute here in the Tampa area, Blackout.
This is one of the reasons I'm looking forward to the Friedman tones.
BE and HBE channels, as well as clean....all switchable.
Don't need a bunch of different tones, just a consistent KILLER Jabs tone

Clips would also be cool, with settings included

i actually think the JJ is custome made for scorpions! but the BE is going to sound killer too

My impression of the JJ was a bit heavier, gain wise, and works well for dropped tunings like AIC.
Not that it couldn't be tamed of course. I did hear one and it nails Jerry's sound, awesome tone!!
I was thinking hot rodded 800 for Scorpions...I have a Splawn QR that does very well.
The BE 100 has been giving me gas for SO long, LOL

I would think you could easily get there depending on what you throw at the amp, meaning pickup and any boost in front. THe HBE channel may be the thing with a hotter JB esque pickup...you'll have fun trying!!!!
