BE-100/KSR Gemini thru Redback/Creamback/V30&Greenies

Here's a bit of an unscientific vid of my KSR Gemini and Friedman BE-100 through some various cabs and speakers. • V-Boutique 212 - Celestion Redback's
• Splawn 212 - Celestion Creamback 65's
• Friedman 412 - Celestion V30/Greenback

Not sure which combinations I like best. I'd probably have to listen some more. The Splawn cab def seems more boxy or focused. The Gemini wins tonally for me.

Yeah man the Gemini is sick. Right now the Redback's seem to be my favorites. I wonder how a 412 of Redback's and H75's would fare...

Gemini sounds great with the M65 Creambacks (and the Friedman sounds the best with those to, IMO). My cab has H75s and my Gemini sounds similar to yours with the M65. Maybe a tad brighter. Hard to say. I wish I could A/B both side by side.

But making me second guess listing mine for sale lol. The Gemini has soooo many tonal options.

Yeah it's a stellar amp for sure. I talked to Kyle for AGES about getting one. Glad we finally got it sorted. So. Many. Tones! LOL!

I suppose I should mention, I left the EQ dialed in the same for all cabs to hear the difference between them. No adjusting the amp per cab.

Gotcha. I LOOOOVE the Gemini. Only thing I still can't quite get dialed in is a good low gain Crunch tone. Of course, I haven't spent a great deal of time trying.

yeah the redbacks were killer. not even close to me. bright without sizzle, and a mean errr sound in the mids.

I wonder what would be a good mix in a 2x12. I’ve got the Friedman 2x12 with two V30s. I’ve been thinking to put a Redback in there with either a CB65, CB75, or V30. Also playing a BE50 and soon to be 2017 BE100.
