Be brave! Throw all those pedals away and get TONE and GLORY!

I love your tonescapes and beautiful delays. I would love to have them to just sit and vibe out to and get enveloped in the waves. But I'm not throwing my pedals away, they are simple utilitarian devices that I do not ask to perform these complex algorithms.

It's not about complex! It's about GOOD!
Many current pedals are way more powerful than a Lexicon300 or even 2 or 3 of them... in terms of computational power (DSP speed).... so why the Lex sounds better?
-working at true line levels always sound MUCH better than instrument levels (+4dB nominal vs. -10dB)... that's the way recordings are made. Higher voltages!
-elegant and masterful algorithms programming
-elaborate ANALOG input stage which is totally absent in pedals.

So... a Lex300 going for the price of a couple of Strymons becomes an incredible deal today. It used to be in the 6000$ zone!
