Just curious if the voicing is the same on these channels? Just a gain/saturation increase for the HBE? Does the BE 50 have a boost option?

Its an extension of the BE channel. Its more shreddy with a fluid but cutting feel and sound, just a hint more brighter but with some compression. It engages an added gain stage making it a total of 4 stages, the stage's cathode and plate is identical to the BE but the grids are different values controlling the amount of gain being fed into the BE's first stage. I prefer the HBE channel over the BE/SAT set up.

Hope that helps.

I concur

Once they release the 50 I'll be able to see for myself. Is there a good way to boost for a lead? Or if I prefer one channel would it be very hard to basically make both channels the same for a master volume boost? Thanks for the info Terry
