BE-OD safe to run at 18v

I'm new to pedals as I am very fortunate to own a SS100 head.

I am looking at a smaller rig for certain gigs and so I'm looking at the Be-OD. I keep hearing how 18v on pedals opens them up etc.

I'm concerned I could blow the pedal up

Is there any risk with 18v

Anyone try it

The BE-OD is OK to run at 18v.
I run my Sir Compre at 18v as well...

BTW SS100 is a great amp!!
